About Emily Stamp
A Wexford based artist specialising in watercolour, Emily Stamp first picked up the paintbrush in 2020 and Emily’s Art was born in March 2021. It was a determination to do something she loved, whilst making others smile that brought her back to her love of art, which had been unexplored since her school days.
Emily’s painting technique has evolved through exploration, customer feedback and the odd tutorial here and there. Her love of animals combined with colour makes her working striking and it’ll draw you in, while her colourful and characterful animals are designed to make you smile. Customers love how different it is from anything they’ve seen.
Emily loves painting your pets and other commissions such as your favourite places and vehicles, tractors and vintage cars!
With a range of original watercolours, and prints to suit all budgets, Emily’s Art is an ideal place to find a wonderful gift for someone you love, or a perfect adornment for your home.
She has a character for every space.
Like my animal art I am fun and characterful person who had always loved art. The first £1 I ever earned was as an artist, when my dad gave me it for my drawings aged about 7 or 8! They say what’s meant for you won’t pass you and I feel I am now doing what I am supposed to be doing after a mixture of roles in the world of a ‘proper job’, I’m so pleased there is a cultural appetite for creative work now here in Ireland.
I’ve become a Watercolour specialist, learning to paint since 2020 and love how my eye for colour has developed and the I now appreciate more the beauty we have around us. I’m not sure watercolour can ever be ‘mastered’ but I think that’s what I truly love about it. So please join me on my learning journey. My business evolves slowly and sustainably always incorporating your feedback to if there is something you’d like to see please get in touch.
